The new blog, powered by Symphony
In an effort to rekindle the blogging flame, I made the decision to completely change blogging systems. Move over Wordpress, Symphony has moved in.
Symphony is a CMS framework developed by the Australian development house 21degrees. Out of the box it looks like a blog, but its power lies in the way it allows users to completely define their own data structures. Data is stored in MySQL, but is served as XML to a presentation layer which forms XHTML using XSLT. Very clean, very powerful, and very geeky.
The design is half complete, so don’t go poking around too much. It’s broken.
